كِتَابُ الجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا

فصل في أحوال الميت في قبره - ذكر الإخبار بأن المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم أسمع أصوات الكفرة حيث عذبت في قبورها
Section on the state of the dead in the grave – The Prophet made the voices of punished disbelievers heard in their graves
Hadith Number: 3124
اخبرنا عمران بن موسى بن مجاشع ، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا وكيع ، عن شعبة ، عن عون بن ابي جحيفة، عن ابيه ، عن البراء بن عازب ، عن ابي ايوب الانصاري ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم سمع صوتا حين غربت الشمس، فقال:" هذه اصوات اليهود تعذب في قبورها" .
Sayyiduna Bara bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him): Once, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) heard a sound at the time of sunset, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: This is the sound of the Jews who are being punished in their graves.
