كِتَابُ الجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا

فصل في أحوال الميت في قبره - ذكر إرادة المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم أن يدعو ربه يسمع أمته عذاب القبر
Section on the state of the dead in the grave – The Prophet wished his nation could hear the punishment of the grave
Hadith Number: 3131
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، حدثنا محمد بن المثنى ، حدثنا محمد بن جعفر ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن قتادة ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لولا ان لا تدافنوا لدعوت الله ان يسمعكم عذاب القبر" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "If I did not fear that you would stop burying one another, I would have prayed to Allah that He make you hear the punishment of the grave."
