كِتَابُ الجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا

فصل في أحوال الميت في قبره - ذكر البيان بأن خطاب هذا الخبر وقع على الكفار دون المسلمين
Section on the state of the dead in the grave – Clarifying that this narration refers to disbelievers, not Muslims
Hadith Number: 3133
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا عبد الاعلى بن حماد ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن عمرو بن دينار ، عن ابن ابي مليكة ، عن ابن عباس ، عن عائشة ، قالت: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن الكافر ليزداد عذابا ببعض بكاء اهله عليه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding the statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "The punishment of a disbeliever is increased because of the weeping of his family over him."

Hadith Number: 3134
اخبرنا ابو عروبة بخبر غريب بحران، حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، حدثنا ابو داود الطيالسي ، حدثنا شعبة ، عن عبد الله بن صبيح ، عن محمد بن سيرين ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" إن الميت يعذب ببكاء الحي" ، فقلت لمحمد بن سيرين من قاله؟ قال عمران بن حصين ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم.
Muhammad bin Sirin narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The deceased is punished because of the weeping of the living person." The narrator says: I asked Muhammad bin Sirin: Who has narrated this hadith? He replied: Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) has narrated it from the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).
