كِتَابُ الجَنَائِزِ وَمَا يَتَعَلَّقُ بِهَا مُقَدَّمًا أَوْ مُؤَخَّرًا

فصل في أحوال الميت في قبره - ذكر الإخبار بأن الناس يبلون في قبورهم إلا عجب الذنب منهم
Section on the state of the dead in the grave – Indicating that all decay in the grave except the tailbone
Hadith Number: 3138
اخبرنا الحسين بن إدريس الانصاري ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن ابي الزناد ، عن الاعرج ، عن ابي هريرة، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " كل ابن آدم ياكله التراب إلا عجب الذنب، منه خلق، وفيه يركب" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "The earth consumes the body of the son of Adam except for a specific part of the backbone; from it he was created and from it he will be resurrected."
