Hadith Number: 3149
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، قال: حدثنا سريج بن يونس ، قال: حدثنا عبيدة بن حميد ، عن الاعمش ، عن عبد الله بن مرة ، عن مسروق ، عن ابن مسعود ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ليس منا من ضرب الخدود، وشق الجيوب، ودعا بدعوى الجاهلية" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "He is not from among us who strikes the cheeks, tears the collar, and calls with the cries of the Age of Ignorance."
