باب فضل الصوم - ذكر البيان بأن خلوف الصائم يكون أطيب عند الله من ريح المسك
Chapter: Virtue of Fasting – Clarifying That the Breath of the Fasting Person is More Fragrant to Allah Than Musk
Hadith Number: 3422
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، حدثنا جرير ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، انه قال: " كل عمل ابن آدم له إلا الصيام، والصيام لي وانا اجزي به، ولخلوف فم الصائم اطيب عند الله من ريح المسك" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him: "Every deed of the son of Adam is for him except fasting; it is different, it is for Me and I will reward it. The smell from the mouth of a fasting person is purer to Allah than the fragrance of musk."
