باب مواقيت الحج - ذكر الأمر لمن أراد الحج أو العمرة أن يحرم من المواقيت
Miqat for Hajj - Command for those intending Hajj or Umrah to assume ihram from the designated miqat
Hadith Number: 3759
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان الطائي ، حدثنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن عبد الله بن دينار ، عن ابن عمر ، انه قال:" امر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اهل المدينة ان يهلوا من ذي الحليفة، واهل الشام من الجحفة، واهل نجد من قرن" ، قال ابن عمر: اما هؤلاء فسمعتهن من رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم. واخبرت، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " ويهل اهل اليمن من يلملم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Messenger of Allah commanded the people of Madinah to assume Ihram from Dhu’l-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: These are the places about which I heard from the tongue of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I have been informed that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The people of Yemen will assume Ihram from Yalamlam.
