Miqat for Hajj - A second report confirming what we mentioned
Hadith Number: 3760
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن السامي ، حدثنا يحيى بن ايوب المقابري ، حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، قال: واخبرني عبد الله بن دينار انه، سمع ابن عمر ، يقول:" امر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم اهل المدينة ان يهلوا من ذي الحليفة، واهل الشام من الجحفة، واهل نجد من قرن" . قال قال عبد الله بن عمر : واخبرت، انه قال: " ويهل اهل اليمن من يلملم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed the people of Madinah to assume Ihram from Dhu’l-Hulayfah, the people of Sham from Juhfah, and the people of Najd from Qarn. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: I have been informed that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: The people of Yemen will assume Ihram from Yalamlam.
