Chapter on What Is Permitted and Not Permitted for the Muhrim – On the Prohibition of Covering the Face and Head Together When Shrouding a Deceased Muhrim
Hadith Number: 3960
Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: A man came on his camel; he was in the state of Ihram. His camel threw him down and he passed away. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) ordered that he be washed with water and lote tree leaves, and that he be shrouded in his two garments. He should not be perfumed, and his face and head should not be covered.
