Chapter on Sacrificial Animals – On Permitting the One Who Marked the Sacrificial Animal to Avoid None of What the Muhrim Avoids
Hadith Number: 4013
اخبرنا ابن قتيبة ، حدثنا يزيد بن موهب ، حدثنا الليث ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عروة ، وعمرة ، ان عائشة ، قالت:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يهدي من المدينة فافتل قلائد هديه، ثم لا يجتنب شيئا مما يجتنبه المحرم" .
Sayyida Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) used to send sacrificial animals from Madinah Munawwarah. I used to prepare necklaces for the sacrificial animals of the Prophet (peace be upon him), then the Prophet (peace be upon him) would not avoid anything from which a person in the state of Ihram avoids.
