Chapter on Sacrificial Animals – On the Command to Ride the Marked Camel When Needed
Hadith Number: 4014
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا عبد الرزاق ، اخبرنا معمر ، عن همام بن منبه ، عن ابي هريرة ، قال: بينما رجل يسوق بدنة مقلدة، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " اركبها"، قال: بدنة يا رسول الله، قال:" اركبها ويلك" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man was taking his sacrificial camel along with him, and there were garlands around its neck. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said to him: Ride on it. He replied: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! This is a sacrificial animal. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May you be ruined, ride on it.
