- باب حرمة المناكحة - ذكر الزجر عن تزويج العمة على ابنة أخيها والخالة على بنت أختها
Chapter: Prohibited marriages – Forbidding marrying an aunt over her niece or a maternal aunt over her niece
Hadith Number: 4117
اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق بن خزيمة ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن بشار ، وابو موسى ، قالا: حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي ، قال: حدثنا داود بن ابي هند ، قال: حدثنا الشعبي ، قال: حدثنا ابو هريرة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: " لا تنكح المراة على عمتها، ولا العمة على بنت اخيها، ولا تنكح المراة على خالتها، ولا الخالة على بنت اختها" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "A woman should not be married together with her paternal aunt, nor should a paternal aunt be married together with her niece. A woman should not be married together with her maternal aunt, nor should a maternal aunt be married together with her niece (i.e., a paternal aunt and her niece or a maternal aunt and her niece should not be joined together in marriage)."
