Hadith Number: 4157
اخبرنا محمد بن احمد بن ابي عون ، قال: حدثنا ابو عمار ، قال: حدثنا الفضل بن موسى ، عن معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن سالم، عن ابن عمر ، قال: اسلم غيلان الثقفي وعنده عشر نسوة، فقال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم:" امسك اربعا، وفارق سائرهن" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates: Sayyiduna Ghalan Thaqafi (may Allah be pleased with him) accepted Islam, and he had ten wives. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Keep four of them and separate from the rest."
