Hadith Number: 4181
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن خلاد الباهلي ، قال: حدثنا يحيى القطان ، قال: حدثنا مسعر ، عن المقدام بن شريح ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت: " إن كنت لآتي النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم بالإناء، فآخذه فاشرب منه، فياخذه النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فيضع فاه موضع في، وإن كنت لآخذ العرق من اللحم فآكله، فياخذه، فيضع فاه موضع في، فياكله وانا حائض" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sometimes I would bring a vessel to the service of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). I would drink from that vessel first, then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would take that vessel and place his mouth at the spot where I had placed my mouth. Sometimes I would take a bone with some meat on it and eat from it, then the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) would take that bone and place his mouth at the spot where I had placed my mouth, and he would eat from it, even though I was in a state of menstruation at that time.
