باب النفقة - ذكر الأمر للمرأة أن تأخذ من مال زوجها بالمعروف لتنفق على عياله إذا قصر الزوج في النفقة عليهم-
Chapter: Maintenance – Command for a woman to take from her husband’s wealth as needed for family maintenance if he falls short
Hadith Number: 4255
اخبرنا حامد بن محمد بن شعيب البلخي ، حدثنا سريج بن يونس ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن هشام بن عروة ، عن ابيه ، عن عائشة ، قالت: قالت هند للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: إن ابا سفيان رجل شحيح وليس لي إلا ما يدخل علي؟ قال: " خذي ما يكفيك وولدك بالمعروف".
Sayyidah Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Sayyidah Hind (may Allah be pleased with her) submitted to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): Abu Sufyan is a miserly man; I have only that which he gives me. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Take from his wealth what is sufficient for you and your children’s basic needs.
