Book of Divorce
باب الرجعة - ذكر الإباحة للمرء طلاق امرأته ورجعتها متى ما أحب-
Chapter: Return – Permitting a man to divorce and take back his wife as he wishes
Hadith Number: 4275
اخبرنا محمد بن صالح بن ذريح بعكبرا، قال: اخبرنا مسروق بن المرزبان ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي زائدة ، عن صالح ، عن سلمة بن كهيل ، عن سعيد بن جبير ، عن ابن عباس ، عن عمر بن الخطاب ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم " طلق حفصة، ثم راجعها" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates from Sayyiduna Umar bin Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) divorced Sayyidah Hafsah (may Allah be pleased with her), then he (peace and blessings be upon him) took her back.
