ذكر الزجر عن أن يحلف المرء بسائر الملل سوى الإسلام-
Prohibition of swearing by religions other than Islam
Hadith Number: 4366
اخبرنا شباب بن صالح بواسط، قال: حدثنا وهب بن بقية ، قال: حدثنا خالد ، عن خالد ، عن ابي قلابة ، عن ثابت بن الضحاك ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من حلف بملة سوى الإسلام كاذبا متعمدا فهو كما قال، ومن قتل نفسه بشيء عذب به في نار جهنم".
Sayyiduna Thabit bin Dhahak (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever deliberately swears a false oath by a religion other than Islam, then that person will be as he has said; and whoever commits suicide with anything, he will be punished in Hell with that very thing."
