كِتَابُ النُّذُورِ
Book of Vows
ذكر البيان بأن النذر إذا كان لله فيه معصية ليس على الناذر الوفاء به-
Clarification that if a vow involves disobedience to Allah, it must not be fulfilled
Hadith Number: 4389
اخبرنا الحسين بن إدريس الانصاري ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر الزهري ، عن مالك ، عن طلحة بن عبد الملك الايلي ، عن القاسم بن محمد ، عن عائشة ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من نذر ان يطيع الله فليطعه، ومن نذر ان يعصي الله فلا يعصه" .
Lady Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates this statement of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever makes a vow to obey Allah, he should obey Him; and whoever makes a vow to disobey Allah, he should not disobey Him."
