Chapter on Caliphate and Leadership - On the clarification that God may support His religion through a sinful man
Hadith Number: 4518
اخبرنا احمد بن يحيى بن زهير بتستر، قال: حدثنا حميد بن الربيع ، قال: حدثنا ابو داود الحفري ، عن سفيان ، عن عاصم ، عن زر ، عن عبد الله ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ليؤيدن الله هذا الدين بالرجل الفاجر" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty will support this religion even through a wicked person (i.e., a disbeliever or a sinful person)."
