باب في الخلافة والإمارة - ذكر ما يستحب للإمام أن يقوم في إصلاح الظهر التي هي له أو للصدقة بنفسه-
Chapter on Caliphate and Leadership - On the recommendation for the leader to personally tend to his own or charity livestock
Hadith Number: 4532
اخبرنا محمد بن زهير بالابلة، قال: حدثنا محمد بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابن ابي عدي ، عن ابن عون ، عن محمد ، عن انس بن مالك ، قال: لما ولدت ام سليم، قالت: يا انس، انظر هذا الغلام فلا يصيبن شيئا حتى تغدو به إلى النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم فيحنكه. قال: فغدوت به فإذا هو صلى الله عليه وسلم في الحائط وعليه خميصة، وهو يسم الظهر الذي قدم عليه في الفتح" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When Sayyidah Umm Sulaym (may Allah be pleased with her) gave birth to a child, she said: O Anas! Take care of this child, do not let him eat anything until he first goes to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) and he gives him tahneek. Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I took the child and set out; the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) was in a garden at that time, he had a cloak wrapped around him and he was marking the camels that had come to him as a result of victory.
