Chapter on the Virtue of Martyrdom - On a report that may seem to contradict the earlier report of Ka'b ibn Malik
Hadith Number: 4658
اخبرنا ابو يعلى ، حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم بن سعد ، حدثنا ابي ، عن ابن إسحاق ، حدثني الحارث بن فضيل الانصاري ، عن محمود بن لبيد الانصاري ، عن ابن عباس ، قال: قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " الشهداء على بارق نهر بباب الجنة في قبة خضراء يخرج إليهم رزقهم من الجنة بكرة وعشيا" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them) narrates that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The martyrs will be at the bank of a river at the gate of Paradise, in a green dome. Their provision from Paradise will come to them morning and evening."
