Chapter on Racing - On clarifying that the specified number in this report does not exclude higher numbers
Hadith Number: 4690
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، حدثنا محمد بن عبد الاعلى ، حدثنا المعتمر بن سليمان ، قال: سمعت ابن ابي ذئب ، يحدث عن نافع بن ابي نافع ، عن ابي هريرة ، ان نبي الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا سبق إلا في خف، او حافر، او نصل" .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Competition will only be among those horses that have hooves or are of Nasl breed."
