باب فرض الجهاد - ذكر مشاركة القاعد المريض المجاهد في الأجر-
Chapter on the Obligation of Jihad – On the sick or disabled person sharing in the reward of the mujahid.
Hadith Number: 4714
اخبرنا علي بن الحسن بن سلم الاصبهاني بالري، حدثنا محمد بن عصام بن يزيد بن عجلان ، حدثنا ابي ، حدثنا سفيان ، عن الاعمش ، عن ابي سفيان ، عن جابر ، قال: كنا في غزاة، فقال النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " لقد شهدكم اقوام بالمدينة، حبسهم المرض" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We were participating in a battle when the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: There are some people who have also joined you in this (battle) while they are in Madinah. These are the people who could not participate in the battle due to illness.
