Hadith Number: 4715
اخبرنا عمر بن سعيد بن سنان ، قال: اخبرنا احمد بن ابي بكر ، عن مالك ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ، قال:" نهى رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يسافر بالقرآن إلى ارض العدو، مخافة ان يناله العدو" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade traveling towards the enemy’s land while carrying the Qur’an, out of fear that the enemy might disrespect it.
