باب الخروج وكيفية الجهاد - ذكر إرادة المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم أن لا يتخلف عن سرية تخرج في سبيل الله-
Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the Prophet’s wish not to be absent from any detachment sent in God’s cause.
Hadith Number: 4737
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد الازدي ، حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، اخبرنا عبدة بن سليمان ، حدثنا محمد بن عمرو ، حدثنا ابو سلمة ، عن ابي هريرة ، عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال:" والذي نفسي بيده، لولا ان اشق على المسلمين، ما قعدت خلف سرية تغزو في سبيل الله ابدا، ولكن لا اجد سعة فاحملهم، ولا يجدون سعة فيخرجون، ويشق عليهم ان يتخلفوا بعدي، والذي نفس محمد بيده لوددت اني اغزو في سبيل الله فاقتل، ثم احيا فاقتل، ثم احيا فاقتل"، قال ذلك ثلاثا .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah, may Allah be pleased with him, narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "By Him in Whose Hand is my soul, if I did not fear that I would cause hardship for the Muslims, I would never stay behind from any battle in the way of Allah. But I do not have the means to provide mounts for all the people, and all the people also do not have the means to set out, and it would be hard for them to remain behind from me. By Him in Whose Hand is the soul of Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, I love that I participate in battle in the way of Allah, then I am martyred, then I am brought back to life, then I am martyred, then I am brought back to life, then I am martyred." The Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said this three times.
