Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the description of the Prophet’s banner when he entered Mecca on the day of conquest.
Hadith Number: 4743
اخبرنا احمد بن يحيى بن زهير بتستر، قال: حدثنا ابو كريب ، قال: حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، قال: حدثنا شريك ، عن عمار الدهني ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم" دخل عام الفتح ولواؤه ابيض" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the conquest of Makkah, when the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) entered (Makkah), his special flag was white in color.
