باب الخروج وكيفية الجهاد - ذكر الإباحة للغزاة أن يبيتوا المشركين ليكون قتلهم إياهم على غرة-
Chapter on Setting Out and the Manner of Jihad – On the permissibility for the fighters to attack the polytheists at night to catch them off guard.
Hadith Number: 4744
اخبرنا عمران بن موسى بن مجاشع ، قال: حدثنا عثمان بن ابي شيبة ، قال: حدثنا هاشم بن القاسم ، قال: حدثنا عكرمة بن عمار ، قال: اخبرني إياس بن سلمة بن الاكوع ، عن ابيه ، قال: " غزوت مع ابي بكر حين بعثه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم علينا، فبيتنا اناسا من المشركين فقتلناهم، وكان شعارنا امت، امت"، قال: فقتلت بيدي سبعة اهل ابيات من المشركين .
Iyas bin Salamah bin Akwa’ narrates from his father: I participated in that battle along with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) in which the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) appointed Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) as our leader and sent him with us. We attacked some polytheists at night and killed them. At that time, our slogan (or identifying cry) was:“Kill! Kill!”The narrator states: That night, I killed members of the households of the polytheists with my own hands.
