باب الغنائم وقسمتها - ذكر ما يستحب للإمام لزوم العدل بالقسمة بين المسلمين مالهم وترك الإغضاء عمن اعترض عليه فيه-
Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On the recommendation for the leader to be just in distributing wealth among Muslims and not to overlook objections.
Hadith Number: 4819
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن إسحاق المسيبي ، قال: حدثني عبد الله بن نافع ، عن مالك بن انس ، عن يحيى بن سعيد ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر بن عبد الله ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يقبض للناس في ثوب بلال يوم حنين يعطيهم، فقال إنسان من الناس: اعدل يا محمد، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: " ويلك إذا لم اعدل فمن يعدل، لقد خبت وخسرت إن لم اعدل" . قال: قال: فقال عمر رضوان الله عليه: دعني يا رسول الله اضرب عنقه، فقال صلى الله عليه وسلم: " معاذ الله ان يتحدث الناس اني اقتل اصحابي، إن هذا واصحابا له يقرءون القرآن لا يجاوز حناجرهم" .
Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was taking things out from the clothes of Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) and giving them to the people. A man said: O Muhammad (peace be upon him)! Act with justice. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: If I do not act with justice, then who will act with justice? If I do not act with justice, then I will be a loser and suffer loss. The narrator states: Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) submitted: O Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)! Shall I strike his neck? The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: Allah's refuge! (In that case, non-Muslims) will say that I have my companions killed. Surely, this man and his companions will recite the Qur'an but it will not go below their throats.
