باب الغنائم وقسمتها - ذكر ما يعدل البعير في قسم الغنائم من الشاء-
Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On the value of a camel compared to sheep in the division of spoils.
Hadith Number: 4821
اخبرنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم بن إسماعيل ببست، قال: حدثنا احمد بن عبد الله بن الحكم الكردي بصري، قال: حدثنا غندر ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، عن سفيان الثوري ، عن ابيه ، عن عباية بن رفاعة بن رافع بن خديج ، عن جده رافع بن خديج ، قال:" كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يجعل في قسم الغنائم عشرا من الشاء ببعير" ، قال شعبة: واكبر علمي اني سمعته من سعيد بن مسروق، وقال غندر: وقد سمعته من سفيان، قال ابو حاتم: في هذا الخبر دليل على ان البدنة تقوم عن عشرة إذا نحرت.
Sayyiduna Rafi’ bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to consider ten goats equal to one camel when distributing war booty. The narrator named Shu’bah says: I am fairly certain that I heard this narration from Sa’id bin Musruq. Ghundar says: I heard this narration from Sufyan. (Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) This narration contains evidence that the sacrifice of a camel is performed on behalf of ten people.
