باب الغنائم وقسمتها - ذكر العلة التي من أجلها كان يعطي صلى الله عليه وسلم المؤلفة قلوبهم ما وصفنا-
Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On the reason why the Prophet gave to those whose hearts were to be reconciled as described.
Hadith Number: 4828
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا مسروق بن المرزبان ، قال: حدثنا ابن المبارك ، عن يونس بن يزيد ، عن الزهري، عن سعيد بن المسيب ، عن صفوان بن امية ، قال: " لقد اعطاني رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يوم حنين، وإنه لمن ابغض الناس إلي، فما زار يعطيني حتى انه لاحب الخلق إلي" .
Sayyiduna Safwan bin Umayyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the occasion of the Battle of Hunayn, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) gave me (wealth). At first, you were the most disliked person to me. You kept giving me (gifts) until you became the most beloved of all people to me.
