باب الغنائم وقسمتها - ذكر ترك المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم الفعل الذي وصفناه-
Chapter on Spoils of War and Their Distribution – On the Prophet abandoning the action described.
Hadith Number: 4834
اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا ليث بن سعد ، عن نافع ، عن ابن عمر ،" ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم بعث سرية قبل نجد فيهم ابن عمر، وإن سهمانهم بلغت اثني عشر بعيرا، ثم نفلوا سوى ذلك بعيرا بعيرا، فلم يغيره رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) dispatched an expedition towards Najd in which Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) also participated. Each of them received twelve camels as their share, and then each of them was given an additional camel as well. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) did not make any change in this.
