باب آداب الأكل - ذكر الخبر الدال على أن الجبن الذي أكله المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم كان من عمل المسلمين-
Table Manners – Report indicating the cheese the Prophet ate was made by Muslims
Hadith Number: 5242
اخبرنا عبد الله بن محمد المديني ، قال: حدثنا إسحاق بن إبراهيم ، قال: اخبرنا يحيى بن آدم ، قال: حدثنا زهير بن معاوية ، عن موسى بن عقبة ، قال: اخبرني سالم بن عبد الله ، قال: سمعت ابن عمر ، يحدث عن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، انه لقي زيد بن عمرو بن نفيل باسفل بلدح، فقدم إليه رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم سفرة فيها طعام، فابى ان ياكل، وقال: " إنا لا ناكل مما تذبحون على انصابكم، ولا ناكل إلا مما ذكر اسم الله عليه" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates about the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): In the lower part of Baldah, he met Sayyiduna Zayd bin Amr bin Nufayl. The Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) placed a dining mat before him on which there was some food. He refused to eat the food. He said: I do not eat that meat which you people (i.e., the people of Makkah) slaughter in the name of idols. We only eat that upon which Allah's name has been mentioned.
