اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد الطيالسي ، قال: حدثنا ابو الاشهب ، عن عبد الرحمن بن طرفة ، عن عرفجة بن اسعد جده، انه اصيب انفه يوم الكلاب، فاتخذ انفا من ورق، فانتن عليه،" فامره النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يتخذ انفا من ذهب" .
Urfaijah bin As'ad narrates regarding his grandfather: On the day of the Battle of Kilab, his nose was lost, so he had a nose made of silver. It began to emit a smell, so the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) instructed him to have a nose made of gold.
