ذكر إباحة التطيب للمرء بالعود النيء والكافور-
Permissibility of Using Raw Agarwood and Camphor for Perfume
Hadith Number: 5463
اخبرنا عمر بن محمد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا احمد بن سعيد الهمداني ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني مخرمة بن بكير ، عن ابيه ، عن نافع ، قال:" كان ابن عمر إذا استجمر، استجمر بالالوة غير مطراة، وبكافور يطرحه مع الالوة، ثم قال: هكذا كان يستجمر رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Nafi' reports: When Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) would light the censer, he would use aloeswood (a specific type of wood) to kindle it and would also mix camphor with it. Then he would mention that the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) would also light the censer in the same manner.
