Sayyiduna Nu’man bin Bashir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say:“Make a barrier between yourself and the unlawful by means of the lawful. Whoever does so will safeguard his honor and religion, and whoever grazes (his flock) near the sanctuary will soon be grazing within it. Every king has a sanctuary, and indeed, the sanctuary of Allah on earth is His prohibited things.”
