Section on Animals – On the prohibition of branding any animal on the face
Hadith Number: 5627
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا غسان بن الربيع ، عن حماد بن سلمة ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم راى حمارا قد وسم في وجهه، فقال:" الم انه عن هذا، لعن الله من فعله" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a donkey that had been branded on its face, so he said: "Did I not forbid this? May Allah curse the one who did this."
