Section on Animals – On the Prophet’s curse on those who brand animals on the face
Hadith Number: 5628
اخبرنا ابو عروبة ، قال: حدثنا سلمة بن شبيب ، قال: حدثنا الحسن بن محمد بن اعين ، قال: حدثنا معقل ، عن ابي الزبير ، عن جابر ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم مر على حمار قد وسم على وجهه، فقال: " لعن الله من وسمه" .
Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by a donkey that had been branded on its face, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: May Allah curse the one who branded it.
