باب ما جاء في التباغض والتحاسد والتدابر والتشاجر والتهاجر بين المسلمين - ذكر البيان بأن من بدأ بالسلام من المتهاجرين كان خيرهما-
Chapter on Hatred, Envy, and Quarreling among Muslims – On clarifying that the one who initiates peace is the better of the two who boycott
Hadith Number: 5670
اخبرنا السامي ، وعمر بن سعيد ، والفضل بن الحباب ، قالوا: حدثنا احمد بن ابي بكر الزهري ، عن مالك ، عن ابن شهاب ، عن عطاء بن يزيد ، عن ابي ايوب الانصاري ، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " لا يحل لامرئ مسلم ان يهجر اخاه فوق ثلاث ليال، يلتقيان، فيعرض هذا ويعرض هذا، وخيرهما الذي يبدا بالسلام" .
Sayyiduna Abu Ayyub Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him): "It is not permissible for a Muslim to remain estranged from his brother for more than three days. When the two meet, one turns his face away and the other also turns his face away. The better of the two is the one who initiates the greeting of peace (salam)."
