Chapter on Joking and Laughing – Clarifying that Anjasha was the one who drove the camels
Hadith Number: 5801
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هدبة بن خالد ، قال: حدثنا همام بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا قتادة ، عن انس بن مالك ، قال: كان للنبي صلى الله عليه وسلم حاد يقال له: انجشة، وكان حسن الصوت، فقال له رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: " رويدك يا انجشة، لا تكسر القوارير" ، قال قتادة: يعني ضعفة النساء.
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had a camel driver whose name was Anjasha. His voice was beautiful. The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Anjasha! Drive slowly, do not break the glass vessels." Qatadah says: By this, he meant the weak women.
