باب ما جاء في الفتن - ذكر خبر أوهم من لم يحكم صناعة الحديث أن آخر الزمان على العموم يكون شرا من أوله-
Section on Tribulations - Report that may mislead some into thinking the end times are always worse than the beginning
Hadith Number: 5952
اخبرنا علي بن الحسن بن سلم الاصبهاني بالري، قال: حدثنا محمد بن عصام بن يزيد جبر ، قال: حدثنا ابي ، قال: حدثنا سفيان ، عن الزبير بن عدي ، قال: اتينا انس بن مالك ، فشكونا إليه الحجاج، فقال: " اصبروا، فإنه لا ياتي عليكم يوم او زمان إلا والذي بعده شر منه حتى تلقوا ربكم، سمعته من نبيكم صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Zubair bin Adi narrates: We went to Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) and complained to him about Hajjaj. He said: Be patient, for no time will come upon you except that the time after it will be worse than it, until you meet your Lord. I heard this from your Prophet’s own lips.
