باب القصاص - ذكر البيان بأن المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم قتل قاتل المرأة التي وصفناها بإقراره على نفسه بقتله إياها لا بإقرارها عليه به-
Section on Retaliation - The Prophet executed the murderer by his own confession, not by the victim’s
Hadith Number: 5993
اخبرنا الحسن بن سفيان ، قال: حدثنا هدبة بن خالد القيسي ، قال: حدثنا همام بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا قتادة ، عن انس بن مالك" ان جارية وجد راسها قد رض بين حجرين، فقالوا لها: من فعل هذا بك؟ فلان وفلان؟ حتى ذكر رجل يهودي، فاومات براسها، فاخذ اليهودي فاقر، فامر به رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ان يرض راسه بالحجارة" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A girl was found in such a state that her head had been crushed between two stones. People asked the girl, "Who did this to you? Was it so-and-so? Was it so-and-so?" until the mention of a certain Jewish man came up. She indicated with her head (that it was him). That Jew was apprehended and he confessed, so by the order of the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), his head was crushed with a stone.
