Hadith Number: 5994
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، حدثنا حامد بن يحيى البلخي ، حدثنا جرير بن عبد الحميد ، عن مغيرة ، عن إبراهيم ، عن هني بن نويرة ، عن علقمة ، عن عبد الله بن مسعود ، قال: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول:" إن اعف الناس قتلة اهل الإيمان".
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Among all people, the believers are the most averse to killing (that is, they avoid causing harm to the slain)."
