ذكر العلة التي من أجلها أمر أسعد بالاكتواء-
Reason for which As‘ad was ordered to use cauterization
Hadith Number: 6080
اخبرنا ابو خليفة ، قال: حدثنا عمران بن ميسرة ، قال: حدثنا يزيد بن زريع ، قال: حدثنا معمر ، عن الزهري ، عن انس ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم: " كوى اسعد بن زرارة من الشوكة" . قال ابو حاتم رضي الله عنه: تفرد بهذا الحديث يزيد بن زريع.
Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) had Sayyiduna As'ad bin Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him) cauterized with a thorn.
(Imam Ibn Hibban, may Allah have mercy on him, says:) In narrating this report, the narrator named Yazid bin Zurai' is unique.
