ذكر الزجر عن أن يكوي المرء شيئا من بدنه لعلة تحدث-
Warning against cauterizing the body for newly occurring illnesses
Hadith Number: 6081
اخبرنا عمران بن موسى بن مجاشع ، قال: حدثنا محمد بن خلاد الباهلي ، قال: حدثنا خالد بن الحارث الهجيمي ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، قال: سمعت قتادة يحدث، عن الحسن ، عن عمران بن حصين ، قال: " نهانا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن الكي فاكتوينا، فما افلحنا ولا انجحنا" .
Sayyiduna Imran bin Husain (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) forbade us from cauterization (branding with fire as a treatment). We got ourselves cauterized, but we neither attained success nor achieved prosperity.

اخبرنا الفضل بن الحباب الجمحي ، قال: حدثنا ابو الوليد ، قال: حدثنا شعبة ، قال: انبانا ابو إسحاق ، قال: سمعت ابا الاحوص يحدث، عن عبد الله ، قال: " جاء ناس، فسالوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم عن صاحب لهم ان يكووه، فسكت، ثم سالوه ثلاثا: فسكت، وكره ذلك" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Some people came and asked the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) about their companion whom they wanted to cauterize. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. They asked about this three times, but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) remained silent. He did not like it.
