ذكر الزجر عن تعليق التمائم التي فيها الشرك بالله جل وعلا-
Warning against wearing amulets containing shirk
Hadith Number: 6086
اخبرنا محمد بن الحسن بن قتيبة ، قال: حدثنا حرملة بن يحيى ، قال: حدثنا ابن وهب ، قال: اخبرني حيوة بن شريح ، ان خالد بن عبيد المعافري حدثه، عن مشرح بن هاعان ، انه سمع عقبة بن عامر ، يقول: سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم يقول: " من علق تميمة فلا اتم الله له، ومن علق ودعة فلا ودع الله له" .
Sayyiduna Uqbah bin Amir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I heard the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "Whoever hangs an amulet (according to the customs of the Age of Ignorance), may Allah not fulfill his (purpose), and whoever hangs a thread (according to the customs of the Age of Ignorance), may Allah not fulfill it for him."
