Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
ذكر خبر ثان يصرح بصحة ما ذكرناه-
Hadith Number: 6887
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن السامي ، حدثنا يحيى بن ايوب المقابري ، حدثنا إسماعيل بن جعفر ، قال: واخبرني حميد الطويل ، عن انس بن مالك ، ان النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " دخلت الجنة، فإذا انا بقصر من ذهب، فقلت: لمن هذا القصر؟ فقالوا: لشاب من قريش، فظننت اني انا هو، فقلت: ومن هو؟ قالوا: عمر بن الخطاب" .
Sayyiduna Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates this statement of the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "I entered Paradise and there was a palace made of gold. I inquired: Whose palace is this? The angels replied: It belongs to a man from the Quraysh. I thought that person would be me, so I asked: Who is that person? They replied: Umar bin Khattab."
