Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر دعاء المصطفى صلى الله عليه وسلم للحسن بن علي بالرحمة-
Hadith Number: 6961
اخبرنا احمد بن الحسن بن عبد الجبار ، حدثنا الحارث بن سريج النقال ، حدثنا المعتمر بن سليمان ، حدثنا ابي ، عن ابي عثمان النهدي ، عن اسامة بن زيد ، قال: كان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم ياخذني فيقعدني على فخذه، ويقعد الحسن بن علي على فخذه الاخرى، ثم يقول: " اللهم إني ارحمهما فارحمهما" .
Sayyiduna Usama bin Zaid (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) used to take me and seat me on one of his knees, and seat Sayyiduna Imam Hasan bin Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) on his other knee, then he would say: "O Allah! I show mercy to both of them, so You also show mercy to both of them."
