كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ

ذكر استماع رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم لقراءة ابن مسعود-
Hadith Number: 7065
اخبرنا محمد بن إسحاق بن إبراهيم مولى ثقيف، حدثنا يعقوب بن إبراهيم الدورقي ، حدثنا حفص بن غياث ، حدثنا الاعمش ، عن إبراهيم ، عن عبيدة ، عن عبد الله ، قال: قال لي رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم: اقرا علي سورة النساء، فقرات حتى بلغت: فكيف إذا جئنا من كل امة بشهيد وجئنا بك على هؤلاء شهيدا سورة النساء آية 41، قال: إما غمزني وإما التفت، فإذا عيناه تسيلان صلى الله عليه وسلم" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: Recite Surah An-Nisa’ to me. I began reciting, and when I reached the verse:“Then how will it be when We bring from every nation a witness, and We bring you as a witness over these?”Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) nudged me, and when I paid attention, I saw tears flowing from the eyes of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).
