Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
ذكر الأمر بقراءة القرآن على ما كان يقرؤه عبد الله بن مسعود-
Hadith Number: 7066
اخبرنا محمد بن عبد الرحمن السامي ، حدثنا احمد بن حنبل ، حدثنا يحيى بن آدم ، حدثنا ابو بكر بن عياش ، عن عاصم ، عن زر، عن عبد الله ، ان ابا بكر ، وعمر رضوان الله عليهما بشراه، ان رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم، قال: " من سره ان يقرا القرآن غضا كما انزل، فليقراه على قراءة ابن ام عبد" .
Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) gave him the glad tidings that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever wishes to recite the Qur'an exactly as it was revealed, then let him recite it according to the recitation of Ibn Umm Abd."
