Sahih Ibn Hibban
كِتَابُ إِخْبَارِهِ ﷺ عَنْ مَنَاقِبِ الصَّحَابَةِ رِجَالِهِمْ وَنِسَائِهِمْ بِذِكْرِ أَسْمَائِهِمْ رِضْوَانُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِمْ أَجْمَعِينَ
Book of the Prophet’s ﷺ Reports on the Virtues of the Companions, Men and Women, by Name
باب فضل الأمة - ذكر الإخبار بأن هذه الأمة هي من أعدل الأمم أسبابا-
Hadith Number: 7216
اخبرنا احمد بن علي بن المثنى ، قال: حدثنا ابو خيثمة ، قال: حدثنا ابو معاوية ، حدثنا الاعمش ، عن ابي صالح ، عن ابي سعيد ، عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم في قوله: وكذلك جعلناكم امة وسطا، قال:" عدلا ".
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding the statement of Allah Almighty (the statement of the Exalted Lord is:): "Thus We have made you a justly balanced nation." The Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: (By "balanced" it means) being just.
